Time heals all wounds

The first thing Kate did when she got back to Atlantis was to read the log of what had happened while she was gone. What she read shocked her. Sentient plants, mind-contrying machines, alien euphoric goo, goa'uld possession--again?!--, wraith attacks, zpms, body switching, sentient city, off-world teams missing...all of this on top of the regulations on homosexuality that were recinded just before she left.

From all reports, the entire population has done a 180 in their sexuality. There are more homosexual and bisexual individuals in Atlantis now than there are heterosexuals. And polygamy is more prevalent than monogamy!

Oh, but she has her work cut out for her. There weren't many reports of gay bashing, thank god, but there had been an attack on Sgt. Lenoir a while ago for his relationship with Jonathan O'Neil...the clone of Gen. Jack O'Neill.

She came back...why? Oh yes. The pay was excellent, the view amazing and Dr. Rodney McKay was the most amusing patient she has ever had.

With a heavy sigh, Kate began sorting out her calendar and making appointments.

TO: Atlantis Expedition Members

FROM: Dr. Kate Heighmeyer


I just returned from a long and interesting briefing with Dr. Weir, Dr. Beckett and Colonel Caldwell in which we discussed the mental health status of our expedition members. Especially conserning the relationship development between certain members and, of course, the new Cult that has formed around Dr. Mckay.

The development of a religion around a man like Dr. Mckay can not be left unadvised by a professional, so I took it to heart and asked Dr. Weir if I could add appointments for all the 'helpers' of this cult to my shedule, and bring up a stress accomplishment class for those unable to stand the chaos Rodney can cause at time. (I am sure Mckay he is a hand full) *clears throat*

I just wanted to say that, if you have problems, need help or just someone to hold you back if the need to strangle someone raises let me know. And don't forget, the need to beat someone with a blunt insturment is natural, the control of those urges however is a art, and I am an artist. *grins* My couch is free for anyone... besides, there are a couple of you who I want to invite to my office this afternoon, I can not let the comments on my Lj title unnoticed. You have a meeting with Dr. Freud sheduled there *glares at certain person*

And whilst we are at it, I would like to start with a group terapy of Dr. Kavnaugh, Dr. Mckay and Colonel Sheppard tomorrow. Dr. Beckett may attend later on, if it gets out of hand, but I am pretty positive about a not so bloody outcome. Well, I asked Ronon and Teyla to help out with the handling for just in case, so it really should become all too bloody.
